I can't say my applesauce spice bars looked pretty (my cake was so moist it started falling apart when I tried to cut it into bars) but I can say it was yum yum yum. Yum!
I'm going to try a zucchini version as well as a carrot one with a cream cheese glaze. Hmm, maybe even one with pears and ginger. Oh, the possibilities are endless.

lol, yeah these weren't the prettiest but they were so delicious! i found they were much easier to cut and handle when they were a little bit chilled. i love, love, love your ideas for future batches!!! especially the pear and ginger.
Ooh, the zucchini version sounds like a future must! Great idea. I love how moist these are.
